Special Education Surrogate Parent

Seeking volunteers from across the state to become Special Education Surrogate Parents (SESPs). FCSN provides training to be effective educational decision makers for eligible children in the custody of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) who do not otherwise have parental representation in the special education process.

47th Annual Carnival Volunteer

The Provincetown Business Guild is recruiting volunteers for Carnival Week, the largest event of the year, August 17-22, 2025. This celebration consists of 11+ events, the highlight being the Provincetown Carnival Parade on August 21. Volunteer opportunities range from parking attendant, escorting VIPs, parade marshals, staffing the information table at our headquarters, and many more!

Conservation Volunteer

While many of our volunteer assignments involve work "in the field", we also have "tamer" tasks that need doing. Indoors and out, it's smart, motivated, and committed volunteers who fuel our progress.

Cape Rep offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities, which includes advocating for live theater, ushering for productions, participating and staffing fundraising and hospitality events, and assisting Cape Rep staff members and artists with their production tasks.

Mentors

ACCE provides mentoring and scholarships for Cape Cod high school students to continue their education and succeed at Cape Cod Community College. Mentors meet with ACCE scholarship students every few weeks to ensure their college experience and studies are going well.  Seeking mentors who want to provide personalized, non-judgmental guidance and encouragement. Playspace Activity Leaders

The Playspace program gives volunteers the opportunity to give back to their community in a meaningful way that works with their schedule – just two hours a week makes a difference for a child living in shelter. Volunteers are supported by a dedicated team of staff committed to the success of the volunteers, the program, and the families we serve.

Volunteer Attorneys

WE CAN needs attorneys with all areas of expertise, especially those experienced in family, housing, employment, and civil law. Volunteer attorneys help to provide free, 30-minute one-to-one consultations designed to help Cape Cod women to know their rights.

You don’t need super-powers to be someone’s hero…you just need to be you and be there! Young kids all over the Cape and Islands are looking for someone who can help them reach their potential. Four to five hours per month make a lasting impact. Best part: you'll have fun doing it!
