Harwich, MA — On April 8, CCYP returns with the Shape the Cape Summit, 11 years of proving that staying and building on Cape Cod isn't just possible; it's worth it.
Presented by Seamen's Bank and hosted at The 204 Cultural Arts Municipal Building in Harwich, the Summit brings together 70+ speakers and 350+ attendees for a full day of real conversation, meaningful connection, and honest talk about work, life, and leadership on Cape Cod.
"The Summit has always been about more than professional development," says CCYP Board President Casey Chatelain. "It's about reminding people that they're not alone in choosing to build their lives and careers here. Ten years in, that mission feels more urgent than ever."
Sessions span four tracks — Big Questions, Personal Growth, Policy, and Professional Development — covering everything from AI in the workplace to housing, burnout, and how to actually run for office (and maybe lose and be fine with it). Attendees choose their own path through the day.
This year's speakers include nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, educators, and more from across Cape Cod and the Islands. Whether you're looking to level up professionally, find your people, or just be in a room where it's okay to say "I don't have all the answers," the Summit is built for you.

What Last Year's Attendees Said
"Networking is a shallow way to describe what I valued most about my Summit experience. I'd describe it more as plugging into the electrical current of the people-powered battery that makes the Cape a really special place to live."
"I absolutely loved the Finding Your People session! I was surprised to see it jam-packed, but then it was nice to know I'm not the only one struggling."
"I found the open dialogue between professionals across industries to be incredibly valuable. I heard a wide range of topics discussed throughout the day, which helped create meaningful connections and sparked opportunities for collaborative growth."
