About the Summit
The Shape the Cape Summit is a one-day conference featuring interactive workshops and panel discussions on topics ranging from career development to civic engagement and work-life balance. The event is designed to facilitate community conversation around a variety of issues that impact quality of life and career opportunity for young people living and working on Cape Cod. The Summit was first introduced in 2016 in response to the CCYP-commissioned Shape the Cape Survey, which highlighted a number of factors that could be driving the “out-migration” of young residents on Cape Cod. The need for career advancement opportunities topped the list. Read more about our past Summits here: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
