From business leaders and environmental advocates to nonprofit organizations and local governments, these "unlikely allies" are breaking silos, forging creative partnerships, and finding common ground to drive real solutions. Join us for an inspiring discussion on how diverse stakeholders can work together to create more affordable, accessible, and sustainable housing for all.

Paul Chatelain

Paul is a licensed real estate broker and co-owner of Chatelain Real Estate, the family business. Paul was born and raised on Cape and, after graduating from the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District, went on to earn a B.S. in Biology from UMASS, Amherst and an M.A. in Education from George Washington University. After returning to the Cape, Paul has become an active participant in the Yarmouth Rotary Club, currently serving as president-elect. Paul plays the trumpet with various groups and lives in Brewster with his wife and several animal employees, though the chickens are currently renegotiating their contracts.

Sean Hogan
Sean Hogan

As the environmental sustainability manager for the Town of Barnstable, Sean leads initiatives that promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship in the community. Previously, he interned at the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs and as a housing research intern at Action for Boston Community Development. He earned dual master’s degrees from Tufts University and The Fletcher School, focusing on urban planning, community development, and law and he is both a Certified Planner and Certified Floodplain Manager.

Jessica Whritenour
Jessica Whritenour

Jessica is a dedicated leader in land conservation and community development with over two decades of experience in the nonprofit and public sectors. As Executive Director of The 300 Committee Land Trust since 2010, she has been instrumental in preserving open space and engaging the Falmouth community in conservation efforts. Previously, she served as Assistant Town Planner for Falmouth, focusing on community preservation and urban planning. She began her career in AmeriCorps Cape Cod, working in natural resource management and environmental education.
