This year's event will spotlight rising food entrepreneurs from the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator and live music curated by Cape Symphony Presents.
Barnstable - For two decades, CCYP has marked the close of summer by bringing the region's community together under one roof. The 20th Annual Back to Business Bash, presented by Cape Cod Five, takes place Friday, October 16, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cape Cod Community College.
Known as the largest networking event on Cape, the Bash packs the house each fall as guests toast the end of another busy season and reconnect with year-round neighbors. The evening offers food and drink from area restaurants and beverage partners, live music, and a chance to learn more about who's leading the region all year round.
To mark the anniversary, this year's Bash turns the spotlight on the next generation of Cape talent, handpicked in collaboration with two of the region's leading creative organizations: the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator and Cape Symphony Presents.
The Cape Cod Culinary Incubator (CCCI) is featuring seven of its member businesses: Backyaad Jerk & Pastry; Calliope Cocktails; Cape Cod Mushroom; Cape Cod Wine Biscuits; Cured By the Cape; The Compass Rose Cafe; and Yapa Provisions. Their creations will be served alongside several longtime local favorites.
"Every business in our incubator started with an idea and the courage to go after it," said CCCI Executive Director Phil DeNegri. "Partnering with CCYP gives our members the chance to share their food and their stories with hundreds while continuing to learn and grow. For a young company, this opportunity is huge."
Cape Symphony Presents (CSP) has dreamed up three performance spaces for the night: Joe Merrick on the CSP Garden Stage, singer-songwriters Jordan Renzi and Lily Mae Harrington upstairs in the CSP Songwriters' Nest, and vinyl sets from Rhythmryder in the CSP Listening Lounge.
"Over twenty years ago, a small group of year-rounders set out to prove that you could build a career and a life here. Today, with more than 2,000 members strong, CCYP is proof that they were right," said CCYP Board President Casey Chatelain. "We're excited to celebrate this milestone by showcasing the entrepreneurs and artists who are shaping the Cape's future."
