Civic & Community Engagement Committee

The Civic & Community Engagement Committee guides CCYP’s community involvement and advocacy work. The committee promotes involvement in local governance and organizes resources, events, workshops, and initiatives that encourage citizens to engage in public service, volunteerism, and collaborative projects. The committee also serves as a liaison between CCYP and both local governments and local Chambers, ensuring that young professionals have a voice in decision-making processes.

This Committee is a good fit for volunteers who are:

  • Community Leaders: Individuals who are respected and trusted within the community.

  • Educators: Teachers or professors who can provide civic education and outreach.

  • Organizers: Individuals skilled in bringing people together and planning community events and activities.

  • Local Government Enthusiasts: Those who understand (and love!) civic processes and governance.
