Marketing & Events Manager

CCYP's incoming Marketing & Events Manager is the engine behind CCYP’s brand, member engagement, and year-round events, translating organizational goals into meaningful community connections.

Core Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Create and design compelling marketing collateral (print and digital) and promo materials to reflect CCYP’s voice and brand and promote events, programs, membership, and brand across all channels.
  • Manage CCYP’s digital presence, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn), email newsletters, and the website, with a focus on growing engagement and visibility.
  • Manage incoming postings and queries for CCYP’s Job Board, Volunteer Board, and Community Calendar.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and continuously improve outreach strategies.

Event Management

  • Day-to-day event coordination support, including year-round Connect Events and annual flagship events: the Shape Your Cape Summit, Back to Business Bash, and Community Breakfast.
  • Lead in-person event prep, logistics, related collateral, and on-site setup. Support outreach and participant follow-up as needed.
  • Manage relationships with host sites, partners, and vendors to ensure brand-aligned execution.

Organizational Leadership

  • Collaborate with CCYP Executive Director and Board to align marketing strategies with CCYP’s mission and goals.
  • Serve as a liaison for external partners and community stakeholders and as a friendly, warm, approachable representative 

Qualifications

Required

  • Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, and/or event management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and website content management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities independently and with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proficient in Google Suite.
  • Reliable personal transportation.
  • Availability to work occasional early morning and evening hours for events.

Preferred

  • Experience designing marketing and outreach materials (print and digital).
  • Prior experience managing social media accounts for a nonprofit organization.
  • Experience planning and promoting community events with 100+ attendees.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and CRM platforms for member recruitment and retention.
  • Demonstrated success in marketing strategy development and building collaborative community partnerships.

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time with benefits (unlimited time off, professional development stipend, community mentorship, phone stipend, mileage reimbursement, etc.)

  • Location: Primarily remote, with periodic in-person meetings and on-site event attendance across Cape Cod and the Islands

  • Reports To: Executive Director

  • Salary Range: $64,000 to $67,000
